Individual Masses

A Mass may be celebrated for an individual, living or deceased, or for a special intention.

We would ask you to please be aware that due to the fact that these Masses will be celebrated at one of our Missions, we cannot honor requests to have a Mass celebrated on a specific date. We thank you for your understanding.

If you chose to write, be sure to enclose your check or money order with your offering of $10.00 (ten dollars per Mass Intention). When receiving Mass requests for the celebration of a Mass for an individual or special intention, the donation must be enclosed with the request. Also, please specify to whom the Mass card is to be sent.

The Passionist Benefactor's Society

The second service we offer is an enrollment in the Passionist Benefactor's Society.

This is a large leather bound certificate with an appropriate religious picture opposite the certificate all enclosed in the leather folder. On the certificate is placed the name of the person or persons you are enrolling and below the printed area stating this person(s) will be remembered perpetually in the daily Masses, prayers, sacrifices and good works of the Priests and Brothers of the Passionist Communities. The usual offering for the enrollment is $10.00 per person enrolled, with an additional charge of $4.00 for shipping and handling. It is this leatherette folder that is most requested as a token of remembrance for a deceased person. With the enrollment of an individual in the Passionist Benefactor Society, you have the added gratification that the person is perpetually remembered, and your offering is used to help with the Passionist Ministries.

The other convenience of the Benefactor's Society is that you are able to keep a supply of the enrollment folders and certificates on hand at your residence or business. You need only to send the offering to Passionist Overseas Missions as you make use of the folders. You will have an information slip and a self-addressed envelope sent to you with the folders and as you use each folder, simply fill out the information slip with the name of the person you are enrolling; the date of the enrollment; your name and address and the amount of your offering. Please remember to send a check or money order. Please do not send cash. Many members of the Passionist Overseas Missions family have found this service a convenience. The folders are usually sent to you in boxes of the 3.
